  No. After you double-click START_HERE.exe the bundled AI runs entirely on your computer. Nothing leaves the device.

• WHAT COMPUTERS DOES IT RUN ON?

  Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. 8 GB of RAM minimum, 16 GB recommended. The AI runs on the CPU — no GPU required.

• WHAT’S ACTUALLY ON THE DRIVE?

  The GridDown AI app, a bundled llama.cpp engine, a pre-built GGUF model, a sentence-transformer index, and a curated knowledge base covering first aid, water/food safety, shelter, radio comms, and basic repair.

• IS IT A SUBSCRIPTION?

  No. One purchase. Yours forever. No accounts, no monthly fees, no phoning home.

• CAN I ADD MY OWN FILES?

  Yes. Drop PDFs, TXT, MD, DOCX, HTML, or CSV files into the knowledge_base folder and click "Rebuild Knowledge Index" inside the app.

• WHAT’S THE RETURN POLICY?
